I honestly love what I do, every wedding’s got its own energy, characters, and chaos, and I get a proper buzz from being part of it all. These days, I’ve slowed things down a bit. I used to shoot 70-odd weddings a year, but now I take on fewer so I can give every couple my full attention and keep the creativeness flowing.
When I’m at a wedding, I’m not hiding in the corner with a long lens, I’m in the mix, chatting, laughing, and blending in so everyone feels comfortable. That’s how I get the good stuff! The real smiles, the daft moments, the hugs, and the chaos that makes your day yours.
I’ve been lucky to get loads of lovely reviews from couples who say I felt more like a mate than a photographer, and that’s exactly how I want it to feel. No awkward posing or forced smiles, just genuine moments, captured as they happen.
Honestly, it never feels like work. Every day’s a Saturday when you do something you love, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
